Mapping of the SDI Lab

Today, we successfully performed the first real test of the SLAM algorithm running on our RC-Car by mapping the SDI Community Lab.
The map was created by the use of sensor data from an RPLidar A2 and the help of an inertial measurement unit  based on the MPU 9150 module.
In the near future, this system will deliver the information for our RC-CAR to enable autonomous navigation in previously unknown environments.
